Hours: In Middlebury, clinics are held at 100 Porter Drive each Tuesday evening from 6:00 - 9:00 pm and one Friday morning each month, from 9am-12pm to accommodate those who work evenings. In Vergennes, clinics are held two Thursdays per month, from 6:00-9:00pm at 10 North Street.
Services:
The Open Door Clinic provides access to free, quality healthcare services to those who are uninsured or underinsured in a compassionate, respectful and culturally sensitive manner until a permanent health care provider can be established.
Care at the Open Door Clinic is provided by a rotating staff of volunteer health care providers and others from our community who generously donate their time because they believe in what we are doing. Volunteers include physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, EMT’s, mental health providers, physical therapists, registered dietitians, dentists, and administrative assistants. The Open Door Clinic receives support from the local United Way, local small foundations and individuals, the State of Vermont, and Porter Medical Center.
